I'm Coming To Malaysia!
1:00 AMHey everyone! You guys probably already know how much I love to travel, especially to Asia where there is a plethora of culture, amazingly sweet people, and delicious food (my personal favorite part). Well, I have a truly exciting announcement to make. I'll be visiting Malaysia next month to host an F.Y.I event where we can talk about all things BEAUTY! You can come learn what makeup trends are the best to try out, a few tips and tricks to perfect your makeup routine, and meet me as well. :)
The event will be held on Saturday January 18th, 2014 at 7:30 PM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This will be my first time to Malaysia and also my first time to the entire Southeast Asian area so I am beyond excited to share this experience with you!
To find out more information about the event you can click on the poster or visit M.E Malaysia's official Facebook page and follow them on Twitter @ME_Malaysia to find out how you can purchase tickets.
Please let me know if you plan on coming and spread the word to your friends as well! Oh and let me know some must-have foods, shopping, and attractions to visit! Kisses and see you soon!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to Malaysia, Jen. You really gotta try our food. char koay teow, bak kut teh, nasi lemak, tanduri, rojak (our local fruit "salad"), laksa and etc. Too bad it's not durian/ rambutan/ or mangosteen season. Else, you could give it a try as well. Stay a little longer, our Chinese New Year is on 30 Jan. You could experience how we celebrate our Chinese New Year, more festive food to try such as kuih kapit, "nian gao", and etc. On top of that, you could enjoy watching our lion dance/ dragon dance. It would be an experience for you =)

Oh my, the food. The FOOD! Even though I've traveled extensively through SEAsia, I only spent about 36 hours in KL wandering the streets (It was so blazing, blazing hot that I left for the coast--pronto) The one taxi driver I took lauged at how much walking I'd done. "We do not walk. We drive." My blog post on KL is lacking, so I won't post here.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you! (And jealous)
Pretty excited you're coming Jen! Especially since I'm based overseas, but will be coming home to Malaysia around that period. Happy to bring you around if you need a guide, especially shopping-wise!

ReplyDeleteso awesome! i'm excited for you! :) you're gonna have to tell me all the places to go. i haven't been to malaysia, but i've been wanting to do a SE asia tour.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what an amazing opportunity!!!! KL is SUCH a fun city and there is a ton of amazing food. Someone else also mentioned the Heli Lounge Bar which is a definite must! It's on the roof of a skyscraper (like, the 32nd floor or something crazy) and there are NO walls or windows to obscure your view of KL. It's super windy and the drinks are reasonably priced and it's fairly laid-back and it really was one of our most favorite experiences ever :D I'm super jealous!
ReplyDeleteWish I were back in Malaysia at that time. 18th Jan is my birthday too! Uwaaa Hope you have fun there Jen & selamat datang (welcome) to Malaysia! :D
