If you liked Hunger Games, read a similar concept that was written by a Japanese author a few years before, called Battle Royale.
I'm a book worm also and my must reads are: Everything is Illuminated (Johnathan Safran Foer: If you're interested in becoming vegetarian, read Eating Animals by him also) What is the What (Dave Eggers) anything by Jasper Fforde
Enjoy!veggiernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13551967492489776621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-52828652183609834972012-01-04T22:42:53.853-08:002012-01-04T22:42:53.853-08:00Hi Jen, happy new year! For the last few yrs, I've been telling myself I need to sleep by midnight the latest so I can get at least 7-8hrs of sleep. But like you, I feel I'm more productive especially late at night. Also, I have trouble falling into a deep sleep!

My frd suggested trying Chamomile tea an hr before bed to try and calm yourself down. I haven't tried that myself but might someday.

I found lotioning my legs & hands before bed with a relaxing scent such as lavender or nuts helps sometimes LOL

http://snowyscorner.blogspot.com/Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04100681879734764974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-50485732846995843652012-01-03T23:18:58.333-08:002012-01-03T23:18:58.333-08:00I am looking forward to see your video about your ...I am looking forward to see your video about your favorite brushes. I am really a little frightened and overwhelmed by this thought since I am in my late 20s and have never really done the makeup thing. I was adopted and raised by non-asians, and still don't really have any asian friends to give me makeup pointers. I've watched a few of your videos and appreciate all of the info, but I still really don't know where to start. I would truly appreciate any and all help. You make it look so easy.

I wish you all the best in the coming new year.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04901757641321636240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-89443483303057765462012-01-03T18:57:51.834-08:002012-01-03T18:57:51.834-08:00My friend has been harassing me to read Archangel ...My friend has been harassing me to read Archangel by Sharon Shinn. She swears to me that it is a good book and it's been on my desk for about 6 months, but I believe her that it is a good book. I love The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the other 2 books of the series, you definitely won't be disappointed with that. I enjoyed Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close although I did not think that I would at all. I'm a huge fan of Battle Royale even if it's translated lol. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is another really good read. It is a nonfiction book, but I could not put it down. State of Fear by Michael something is another interesting read. It was required for one of my english classes, but really caught me by surprise and was a really good read. I finished that in a day and I never do that.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12198667632801284170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-71526418233557483892012-01-03T18:36:54.361-08:002012-01-03T18:36:54.361-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12198667632801284170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-51164726696236798022012-01-03T16:10:55.835-08:002012-01-03T16:10:55.835-08:00I love YA books too! I have a stack of books on my coffee table that I've been meaning to finish/read. @_@

I've read most of what you listed, am currently on the third of the Millennium trilogy (The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest). I've watched all the Swedish movies too. Great series, though so sad at times. If I had to suggest one book it'd be my favorite - Timeline by Micheal Crichton. It's sorta sci-fi and really fast paced. It's action packed from the very beginning. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-74746186590371128332012-01-02T22:50:25.716-08:002012-01-02T22:50:25.716-08:00Eugenia: I love Hunger Games! I am a student at UC Berkeley and was fortunate to enroll in a psychology class focused on sleep. At the beginning of that academic semester I was still a notorious night owl. But the class really taught me to prioritize my sleep, and made me realize how important it is for overall well being. Today I feel like I am a whole new person! I wake up by myself, without an alarm at around the same time every morning and I feel well rested and harmonious throughout the day. I cannot believe that this is me, but I certainly like it!

Good luck!SOFIEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00499374388943957179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-56792626976499006952012-01-02T16:47:35.691-08:002012-01-02T16:47:35.691-08:00Great resolutions, Jen. I used to be ...Love love l-o-v-e A Brave New World. I used to be a huge bookworm too until it kinda tapered off. Read most of Anne Rice's vamp chronicles (Blackwood Farm & The Queen of the Damned were my fav's) and all the Harry Potters in no time at all. Then I started to get busy with other new hobbies: learning how to cross-stitch, scrapbook, and becoming a better cook for ma new Hubbly. So now, at work in ma nice isolated lab setting, I listen to audiobooks and, as ling as noone interrupts me, I can take in a whole book in 2 days! I recently listened to The Alchemist and have since re-listened to it about 3 or 4 times! Very much like a Brave New World but more about self-love and realization as opposed to being "exiled" b/c of your own beliefs. Try it out! With all your awesomeness, you've GOT to be busier than me! xoDkauanoe0422https://www.blogger.com/profile/14618993809386054255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3265224172200387426.post-19393881102568068112012-01-02T10:00:38.432-08:002012-01-02T10:00:38.432-08:00When I first read your blog you'd just changed...When I first read your blog you'd just changed your blog layout.
