  2. You seem extra happy in this video...you must be loving LA! :) Glad to have you back.

Love the blue color of that purse. You mentioned that you like turn-lock purses...have you seen the J. Crew Tillary purse? The price is super cheap in stores now. Down to $59.99 plus they are running a 25% off promotion through Sunday. I posted about the purse here: http://thepetitefittingroom.blogspot.com/2012/09/tillary-purse-reduced-even-more.html

  4. I know you can still get the trios, but I'm still sad I missed out on the Barbie palette (I learned about the collection to late).

I've yet to try a UD mascara (don't know why). I'm curious about the Supercurl mascara - I prefer mascaras that aren't waterproof but it's been a while since I wore a waterproof mascara and I do like the look of Cannonball's wand.

  9. Hi Jen!

The fact that you have so much make-up, when do you know it's time to throw your make up away? Do you follow expiration date? I have a hard time throwing mine away since you know make-up aren't that cheap!! XD.

Also, how do you maintain your beautiful white teeth?!

Thank you so much for your help <3

    1. Different makeup items have different expiration dates, but the ones I stick to the most are liquid and cream products like mascara (3-4 months) and foundation (1 year for water-based and 1.5 years for oil-based). They can hold a lot of bacteria so it's important to get rid of them even if there's product left. I'm flexible with keeping products that I can spray with alcohol or scrape off to disinfect like a lot of powders, lipsticks, and pencils, and I also keep nail polish until it dries out. :)

I don't do anything special for my teeth other than brushing with a whitening toothpaste which I'm not sure actually does much!

    2. Thank you Jen!

I never know that you can spray those stuff with alcohol! I saw in one of your depotting eye shadows that you used rubbing alcohol, I was even wondering if the eye shadow will be fine? If you have time, a little tutorial about how to keep make-up clean, disinfect them and when it's about time to throw each kind of make-up away would be so nice! The back of the Naked2 shows the little sign with opened container and 12M on it, I assume I'm "supposed" to get rid of it after 12 months, but I will never finish it within a year!

Also, I'm so excited that you moved to LA. I always thought that you're from California for some reasons! Good luck with everything! Can't wait for your new videos <3

  10. I've missed your posts & videos, but it's good to know that you're starting to get settled in a new place. I've always wanted to try a Benefit blush - their packaging is so cute and I hear some pretty good things about the product, too.

Thanks for sharing your most worn things and good luck in your new home!

  12. Hi Jen! I was wondering if you could do a video "everything about false lashes"? Which ones are your favorite for everyday (natural)/night out (dramatic)/etc. Which ones you wear most often or have the most pairs of. which ones you think are the best quality or ones you think are worth the money that you spend.

I also have monolids and I feel wearing lashes really helps with adding a little more dimension(?) to my eyes, but I have yet to find a pair that looks natural yet adds drama at the same time. (I haven't actually tried on too many pairs and am still an amature at putting them on) I know you like the criss cross lashes, but when I tried a pair on, the front part of the lashes seem to droop down a bit and covers a part of my eye. Am I putting them on wrong? Or is it caused by the lashes that I use? How can I solve that problem?

I think if you could make a video on false lashes, that would be super helpful! (For some reason, bc I'm asian, I prefer to watch asian makeup gurus on youtube. Probably bc I feel we share more similarities when it comes to eye shape, skin tone, skin sensitivities.) Love your videos and your sophisticated/ chic/ fun style! :D

  16. Congrats on your move! My hubby and I also just went through an ordeal of a move (plus 2 babies and 2 dogs) last week and unpacking is going slower than evolution. (-_-);; If you bought a place, remember to change the locks. Hope you adjust well and quickly make lots of new friends! that's always the hardest part for me with all of our many moves (like 5 or 6 moves in past 4 years): the older I get (now 33) and the bigger our family gets, the more our friendships change according to family needs, and the more effort it takes to put myself out there to invest in friendships.
