Hey guys! It's time for recapping my monthly favorite beauty products of this August. As you know, this month has been filled with lots of travel. With the whole packing and moving process, a lot of my readily-available cosmetics and beauty products have been limited so I wanted to share some solid staples that have made it to the small makeup pouch that I've been living out of for the last few weeks!
Today I wanted to share with you a couple of interviews I've had the honor of being a part of from around the 'net!
First off the lovely Kat from one of my favorite fashion & lifestyle blogs, Feather Factor, posted this in-depth peek at my style, favorite things, and advice on what to shop for. I'm a huge fan of the interview series on her blog (past interviewees include A Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin as well as fascinating and successful women from all walks of life... I'm so flattered to be a part of this list!) so definitely check them out if you enjoy reading about different people or seeing drool-worthy bag and designer collections. Thank you so much Kat for the interview and I can't wait to read your future interviews as well!
Next, I wanted to share the LA18 interview I did last month. The show was "Halo Halo with Kat Iniba" and I got the opportunity to talk a bit about my experience being on the cast of Away We Happened.
This was my first time being in a tv studio so it was a lot of fun to see everything behind-the scenes like green-screens and reflective monitors on cameras. If I look nervous at the beginning of the interview it's because I was trying hard not to stare at myself in the monitor. So awkward! Hahaha.
I am currently in the process of moving out of my apartment (any moving tips would be helpful!) so things will likely slow down on the Youtube and blog end, but please let me know in the comments what reviews or videos you'd like to see coming up!
Hey everyone! Today's review is a new foundation out from Urban Decay called Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup. It seems like nowadays every company is creating their own formulation fit to withstand today's high definition cameras and Naked foundation is no exception.
I wanted to swatch and review three shades for you so can get a bit of an idea on the shade selection and how it wears.
Hey guys! I've gotten so many requests to go over how I pack my train case ever since I bought it in this haul. Since I took it with me for my 2-month trip to California, I wanted to share with you what I took and how it was organized. It took a lot of trial-and-error to fit everything in place as well as to select my favorite essentials to bring along, so I hope this inspires some of you in how to pack your own train case!
Hey everyone! Today's post is pretty self explanatory. My friend and co-star of Away We Happened, Victor Kim, told me that he really wanted to do my makeup while I was visiting LA, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to do a hilarious collaborative video. Victor would get to flex his artistic skills while I get to be *ahem* pampered by a *cough* connoisseur of makeup.
It just so happens that a slew of "_____ Does My Makeup" videos have been going around the YouTube world like wildfire so I wanted to toss this offering into the pool as well. We decided to integrate a "reality TV" style interview with the makeup mastermind himself.
Not to say everyone will be entertained, but upon first edit, I laughed so hard I cried. ;D
To bring on the LOLs check out the video below!
Hey everyone! I'm finally back from California and what a whirlwind it has been. Entering my apartment again felt like I was entering another dimension since I've been gone for 2 months. Needless to say, there is a lot of work to be done at home and in preparation for lots of upcoming changes in my life and also here on the blog. More reviews will be coming soon!!! :)
Because of the extensive travel, my favorites this month have truly been staples so I'm quite happy to recommend to you some products that I been loving and really stand by.
