I thought it would be fun to share a little twist on the traditional outfit or makeup post and do a little behind-the-scenes on getting ready for a glam night out. Whether it's date night with the hubby or prepping for a huge production like the Oscars, all of us like to put a bit of extra effort in looking dazzling for that glamorous event so it's important to check off every detail.
Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you a really rad gel mani I had done while I was in NYC for fashion week. This nail art design was by celebrity nail artist Jessica Tong aka @jesthemess who was enthusiastically recommended via mutual friends David Yi and Sena Yoo.
When I was deciding on what I wanted for my nail design, I landed on a very graphic black design over "clear" negative space. I requested that she incorporate hearts because I got the mani on Valentine's Day so she hand-painted and studded this piece as the final artwork, which was SO ME and exactly what I wanted!
Hey everyone! Did you enjoy Valentine's Day last week? My husband and I were unexpectedly stuck in NYC but ended up having a chicken-n-waffles date of the most delicious and romantic type. ;)
Today I wanted to share a lookbook with you that is centered around the concept of love. These could be cute outfits for wearing on a date with your significant other or as an AWESOME single person out with your lady friends or family that you love with SO MUCH LOVING LOVE. Love doesn't come in only one type so we can all celebrate by dressing beautifully! ;)

Happy Monday! Today's manicure comes from Deborah Lippmann's 2014 Spring Collection which is chock full of the type of pretty pastels that make me absolutely giddy. I can be such a girly girl sometimes but I've always been a huge fan of minty green, lavender, periwinkle, and of course ballet pink. La Vie En Rose is an absolutely lovely semi-sheer baby pink and with Valentine's Day just around the corner I thought it would be perfect to share.
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share with you my January Favorites. To kick of the year I fell in love with a few new "basics" like foundations and a brush I rediscovered. My routine has been pretty simple lately so it's good to have nice products to rely on when you don't have time to think too hard about what to grab in the morning. Let's check it out below!
Hey everyone! I was drawn to today's Manicure Monday shade because it had a sparkle and fire to it without being a glitter like last week's color. As easy as it is to remove glitter polish, I still wanted to give my nails a little breather from the grit of removing those shimmering specks. The great thing about glass-fleck shimmer is that as gorgeous as it is, it's easy to remove too and I thought this coppery orange would be a lovely choice for today. Let's check out OPI A Woman's Prague-ative below!
