Hey everyone! Today's Mani Monday is a lovely, minty green polish from the Deborah Lippmann Spring Reveries collection called Flowers In Her Hair. Can we just take a minute to appreciate the name of this polish? It just puts me in a nostalgic mood, just like seeing the baby green hue in this shade.
Hey guys! Today I wanted to share a bright makeup tutorial with you using the Urban Decay Electric pressed pigment palette (my review).
I love me some bright colors but sometimes they can be a bit intimidating to actually use without doing a full-on neon cupcake princess look. That's why I decided to compromise with this eyeshadow look that is inspired by an ombre winged liner, but modified to work with my naturally monolid eyes. (Note: This totes works with creased eyes too!)
Ahhh, blush. There are few things in the makeup world I am more apt to collect than a really great blush. There's just something about them that makes me weak in the knees and convinced that I need multiples of the all-flattering "warm pink with gold shimmer" iconic shade of which NARS Orgasm is the Original-Gangsta-Mac-Daddy of them all.
To have such a blush-inducing (pardon the pun) name that beauty addicts spit out without a second gasp (ok, I really need to stop) must mean that the color is so well-known that the usual whispers and giggles should only be used after an exhilarating.... ahem. Shopping haul.
Well, NARS' new NARSissist Cheek Kit has the perfect balance of contour, blush, and highlight that will leave even the most neutral of clients flushed. ;)
Do you have Maleficent fever yet? I, for one, am in shivers admiring Angelina Jolie's stunning and untouchable appearance in the movie. MAC's recent collaboration with Disney's Maleficent includes several Maleficent-inspired beauty products but Flaming Rose polish especially stood out to me.
Happy weekend everyone! Today I have a fashion styling video to share that's a bit different from my previous Lookbooks. Instead of simply having outfits of the season, I wanted to focus the topic down to something nearly everyone has in her wardrobe: the Plain White Tee.
Obviously you can always just throw on a white tee and a pair of jeans and head out the door, but I actually find the clean, basic nature of the t-shirt to be really fun to pair in creative ways by mixing high-and-low-end pieces.
