After 2 long months of working hard and busting our butts, the finale of Away We Happened is finally here! This is definitely one of my favorite episodes in the whole series and, more than the others, I think the episode takes you on its own journey. A lot of you had been asking for longer episodes so this one is about twice as long as the previous ones too. :)

Inevitably, after the misunderstandings of the last episode, Daniel and Jean are both a bit conflicted on what to do next.

Hi everyone! Episode 5 of Away We Happened is definitely more emotionally charged compared to the last few episodes. Sometimes in relationships, we can misread so many things that start small but turn into something much larger than we anticipated and this episode is a great example of that. Awkward circumstances, more awkward circumstances, then huge misunderstandings.

My favorite parts of this episode were both of Daniel's scenes with different characters because of how deliciously awkward it was. First, there is the elevator scene where he first runs into Jeremy. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable enough riding on an elevator with someone who seems to be in an impatient mood, but even more so when you have been in a funk yourself.


I have to say that this episode was the most challenging one so far just because it was really emotionally draining. As I've said before, this is my first real acting experience so it was a new thing for me to spend hours arguing with someone. Real or fake, it's amazing how much it can pull at your energy levels. I have a new-found respect for the actors and actresses who do this everyday.

We just got done filming the finale episode the last couple of days so it should be up sometime next week. Until then, I will leave you to answer the questions at the end of this week's episode:

Hi everyone! Today I finally have another makeup tutorial to share with you. As you know, I've been super busy these last few weeks working on Away We Happened. One of the most important aspects of filming so regularly has, of course, been the makeup and looking ideal for the cameras. Since it's my first time acting on film, there have been many things that I've learned from trial and error with my hair, skin, nails, fashion, and everything in between so I want to pass on what I've learned to you. I'll start with makeup and then deal with skincare at a later time (Just as a warning, my skin has been going INSANE since I came out to LA so I'll have a lot to talk about on that subject).

Many of you have been requesting the makeup look that I've worn for the series and I've also been meaning to do a tutorial for "photo day" makeup, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone.

Eeeeeeeeeeee! This week's episode of Away We Happened was by far my favorite. Jean and Daniel finally get to meet and their impromptu date ends up being really sweet and pretty hilarious thanks to Victor's antics. You want to see the famous B-boy dance, right? Well some of his *ahem* best dance moves were showcased here. ;)

So Jean and Daniel finally get their bags back this episode but lo and behold, who do we have here? It's Big Edgar! Look at his cute little arms flopping over the tape! Ahhhh, Wong Fu's line of Awkward Animals totally get my heartstrings every time. I think I'm going to beg the guys to let me adopt all of them. :p


During recording, Vic and I had soooo much fun posing for the cheesiest selcas. I'm pretty sure this was the tamest of the bunch considering I taught him the chubby bunny, heart hands, devil horns, uh oh, face punch, etc. Very Kdrama, am I right?


Can everyone give a big round of applause (or you know, ponder inside your heart while reading the computer screen) for Wes's breathtaking cinematography? The sun sets on its own schedule so we were literally running trying to get the shots in on time. It's funny how thoughtful and slow each scene was but then between takes we sprinted to reset. It paid off though. Nobody can deny how beautiful the hilltop scene was.

Speaking of dance party, one of the takes I got so into the moves that I actually did trip and fall flat on my butt in a very non-graceful manner. That floor was slippery! Just imagine me doing that scene over and over again, doing all sorts of touchdown-style fist pumps in 4-inch heels. HAHA!

Phil of Wong Fu was like, "Go all out, don't hold back," and I'm all, "No don't worry, I got this."

Since I came out to LA, some of my favorites this month have been things that have been working well for me in the drier weather out here. I also have a new favorite everyday blush, eyeshadow, and a nail polish that I've been wearing a lot.
