Hey guys! Today I have another basics video that I wanted to share. Today's topic is on mascara, one of the most elementary steps to putting on makeup. Even girls who rarely wear makeup will venture into the world of mascara since its obvious benefits of framing the eyes is simple to see and frequently has a high instant-gratification rate.
Blessed are those who were born with long, curled, thick lashes naturally but unfortunately I am definitely NOT one of those girls! Instead my short, downward-pointing, stick straight lashes have always taken specific tools and tricks to make them visible enough to greet the world. ;) Thankfully, I have tested plenty of mascaras and I'd love to share everything I've learned with you. If you'd like your lashes to be va-va-voom instead of droop city, read on!

As a follow-up to last week's Mani Monday, I wanted to test out the second polish from Urban Decay's Fall release: Addiction. This khaki-green shimmer blast looked like it would be another nice neutral for autumn outfits. Honestly after feeling a bit ho-hum about Vice (the polish, not the amazing palette) I didn't have grand expectations for this one to be as complex on the nail as it is in the bottle. Hey everyone! Today I have an eyeliner-based makeup tutorial that I am very much excited to share, mainly because the couple of times I did this look I was completely in love. Ever since I first heard Lorde's "Royals" it has been my favorite pre-Fall jam. There's something about it that is really edgy yet basic, which also reflects this cut-crease winged liner inspired by her look in the music video.

Hey everyone! It's now heading into one of my favorite makeup seasons of the year... Fall. What that means is that all of the makeup companies are prepping for the holidays and kicking out some really jaw-droppingly good products.
You may remember that last year Urban Decay came out with the beautiful Vice palette so I was seriously excited to find out it had a sequel. I guess the trend is to go all cinematic on us and have palette babies when the first one does well. I don't even mind though because if the sequel lives up to its original, then please, come close to my bosom (or eyelids?) you sexy palette you. Ugh, I can't even handle how goosebump-worthy this one is. Welcome the Vice 2 Palette!

My Boyfriend Scales Walls by OPI is somewhere between a cool white and a very pale grey which I just think is so amazing. I know grey nails are a thing. I know white nails are a thing. But Greight? Whey? Whatever you want to call it, all I know is I am in love!

Hey everyone! For today's Mani Monday I have another drugstore nail polish purchase to share. This bright, creamy orange is Marmalade from Revlon's Colorstay line of polishes. When I picked this up I was hoping for a vibrant, true orange shade and this seemed like a nice option.
