Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you a really rad gel mani I had done while I was in NYC for fashion week. This nail art design was by celebrity nail artist Jessica Tong aka @jesthemess who was enthusiastically recommended via mutual friends David Yi and Sena Yoo.
When I was deciding on what I wanted for my nail design, I landed on a very graphic black design over "clear" negative space. I requested that she incorporate hearts because I got the mani on Valentine's Day so she hand-painted and studded this piece as the final artwork, which was SO ME and exactly what I wanted!
Hey everyone! It's the last Manicure Monday this year before Christmas and I wanted to make sure my nails were properly festive for the season. You may remember that I did a cute Snowman Nail Art tutorial last year, so I thought a slightly broader concept would be fun this time around. When Elleandish's Sweater Weather nails recently came up in my blog feed, I knew argyle nails would be the perfect answer!
Today's Mani Monday is a Halloween nail art look that I've always wanted to do: Candy Corn! I've honestly never been a fan of eating candy corn but I love their iconic shape and color. Since I've grown out and filed my nails to a more pointed shape, I thought it would be the perfect look to spend the last few days before Halloween.

Manicure Monday: Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation Nails in Screwdriver Orange
Hey everyone! This week's Manicure Monday is another Etude House polish which actually comes in a set of 3 mini polishes. Used together the Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation Nails trio in Screwdriver Orange creates a cute, glittery gradient effect which is perfect for the Summertime. I personally adore peach and glitter so you know I was digging this one!
Hey everyone! I want to officially welcome back the return of Manicure Mondays. I took a little break from consistent manicures while I was on vacation in Korea because I didn't change my nails too much while I was gone. Instead, I tried out an at-home gel nail kit called Sensationail since gel nails last a purported 2 weeks. I knew it would be a solid pick for a long trip, saving nail polish space in my luggage for new colors to pick up while overseas. It was a win-win situation!
Hey guys! Today's Manicure Monday is another Spring-appropriate pastel that I've been really into lately. Mint greens have been popular for the last couple of years and if anything, that trend has only been strengthened with Pantone choosing Emerald as its color of the year this year. Maybe it's because St. Patrick's Day wasn't too long ago, but I felt like a two-toned french tip using mint and emerald polishes would look great for the changing seasons. Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Today I wanted to share a very special Manicure Monday because it's actually a fun and easy-to-follow nail art. It's been a really long time since I've done character nail art but every once in a while I think it's a creative way to express yourself and give a little happy boost whenever you glance down at your fingers. I've gotten loads of compliments on this look so I wanted to share it with you as well! :)
