Hey everyone! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may have already heard that I had the incredible opportunity to partner with Burberry and travel across the pond to London to attend the Burberry Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show to help promote Burberry Beauty's new launch at Sephora.

In addition to seeing the presentation up close, I also got to join press to check out the red carpet and got a backstage pass to see the day-of details for the beauty look the models wore. The 3-part combo was both a first for the brand as well as a dream to experience for me. I'm still a little breathless after that gorgeous, whirlwind trip!


I'll be sure to dedicate a future blog post to my experience, but today I wanted to share my take on Burberry's edgy Spring/Summer 2016 look which works equally well for rocking this Fall!


We're going to start off using the Face Contour pen on the hollows of the cheeks, sides of the nose, and under the jawline to add definition. I find shade Medium No. 01 to look really natural on my skintone. You can use a brush to blend, but I find fingers work excellently to warm the product and blend really smoothly.

Hey everyone! I am so thrilled to share with you a project that I've secretly been working on for the last several months: The GRAVITY jewelry collection!

Anyone who knows me knows that I've always loved collecting nice jewelry, especially pieces that I can wear and layer on a daily basis so when Mejuri came to me with the opportunity to design pieces of my own, I was overjoyed to give my design muscles a stretch and jumped in head first with my pencil and sketch pad!

Oh goodness gracious, Urban Decay has a brand new lipstick line out for the Summer and it's going to go strong through the Fall as well! Introducing Matte Revolution which is a collection of 9 shades (plus 2 more exclusive to urbandecay.com and UD boutiques) full of bold, creamy opacity.

More than calling these straight-up mattes, I see the Matte Revolutions as being a sister to the original Revolution lipstick since most of them don't have that uncomfortable dry feeling typically associated with matte products but it certainly has all of the extreme pigment you'd expect.

As you may remember from last year, I am a huge fan of Nordstrom's annual Anniversary sale. In my heart it is the biggest and best sale of the year and I intentionally hold off on beauty and clothing purchases in advance knowing I will have a bit more to splurge when the sale hits. You may be wondering why the internets go up in flames about it and the answer is this: there are 30-50% discounts on brand new Fall items in advance of the season which will subsequently go up to full price once the sale period is complete.

I already made my Early Access order (for cardholders. I have the debit card which is handy since you don't have to worry about payments.) but the sale also opens to the public on July 17th. As a heads up, items do tend to sell out quickly so it's better to wishlist or purchase sooner than later. Even without early access you can still browse and wishlist items, which makes for easier shopping later.

I've made plans to film a massive haul video as soon as I get my items in but I wanted to give some recommendations for those of you who have early access or want guidance through the sale. Trust, I have picked through the site and found a few items I absolutely adore.
