Paul & Joe Fall 2010 Beauty: Kitty Lipsticks!!

If you follow me on Twitter, you will know that I have been freaking out about this collection ever since I randomly browsed online about Paul & Joe and saw some photos a while ago. One of my favorite makeup brands, Paul & Joe Beaute, is releasing limited edition kitten-shaped lipsticks as well as some gorgeous eye palettes for their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. The collection is called "Clair de Lune" (moonlight) and is inspired by the Parisian skyline.

Cats are temperametal -- just like the moon.
Sophie Albou's most favorite animal, a cat is now sculpted on the lipstick itself. Package is printed in the latest fabric print of PAUL & JOE fashion collection for 2010 AW. Lip color itself combines clear, beautiful colouring with a delectably creamy texture. Contains our "SECRET D'OR," a blend of several varieties of champagne gold frost, each possessing a different overtone and a sparkle that varies subtly depending on what angle you view it from. Together, they give skin a sheer, highly translucent sparkle.

Oh my freakin' holy bageezzzz they are hilarious! I am particularly smitten with the pink in the middle and the nude color with the swan print on the right. Looks like they are the same flimsy-ish cardboard packaging as most of their limited edition lipsticks but for something this crazy with beautiful prints, I'll forgive it.

Here are the Face & Eye Color CS eyeshadow palettes. The swan palette with its neutral colors looks like a straight-up winner to me personally.

068 Paper  Moon

069 Blue Moon

And just because I can, here are the Lipstick C cat lipsticks in giant-sized photos to enjoy in all its creepy goodness.

The really exciting part for me is that it will be way easier to get our little mitts on these puppies (kitties? lol) than it has been in the past since will be stocking them. You will also be able to find them at their usual online retailers like and starting on August 1, which is in only two days from this post.

So what do you think? Will you be picking adopting a couple kitties to consume? Maybe some eye palettes? Do I have a sick sense of humor? I'm thinking maybe yes to all of the above.

UPDATE: Looks like has already started carrying the collection! I just placed my order. I also found a fantastic coupon code: OPRAH for 25% off your purchase. On top of that, they are doing a promotion for a free P&J kitty purse mirror for orders of $75+ on Paul & Joe items. AND there is also free shipping for $100+ orders which I am embarrassed enough to say I met the requirement to. ;D Hehe.

Rock & Republic, Pinky Paradise, & more coupons ^.^

I know I'm so bad for being an enabler but I wanted to share some good sales going on right now. >:D

Rock & Republic

I'm sure many of you have already heard but Rock & Republic is having a big sale on their cosmetics. With the code ROCKCOSMETICS you get 50% off of all cosmetic items, plus they have a 99 cent shipping promotion going on so it's pretty much cheaper than the Hautelook sale. Of the pressed blushes, there are only a couple colors left but I'm crossing my fingers that they'll restock!

Pinky Paradise

After a number of people asked me to see if I could get a coupon code for my circle lens provider Pinky Paradise, I asked and they responded! Now I have a code to share with you all. ^.^

If you enter code frmheadtotoe at checkout you will receive a free lens case as well as a mystery gift (either an eye mask or eyeliner). Your purchase must consist of a minimum of 1 pair of lenses AND they are stackable, as in if you buy 2 pairs you get 2 mystery gifts, or 3 pairs and 3 mystery gifts and so on.

Pinky Paradise has also recently started carrying Dolly Wink products, which are a really popular Japanese brand of cosmetics that are very gyaru and dolly style. I'm really excited about it because I've been wanting to try the lashes for a long time! Eki had sent me the liquid eyeliner before, so I can say from first-hand experience that it's very nice quality.

Ulta is having a coupon promotion as well for 20% off of your ENTIRE order with code 51194 this week. This sadly excludes fragrance and a lot of "prestige" brands like my favorites Urban Decay but you can still use it on my favorite eye cream, Stri-Vectin. I bought mine from Ulta at previous 20% off sale too since it's pricey. :)

Okay that's it! Thank you to everyone who tweeted me and e-mailed me about the current sales. Haha. You ladies know me too well. >.<

Happy shopping!

HQCD Feather Earrings & Thoughts

Hey guys! I was digging around in my files to see what I should post today and I realized that I had stowed away a video that I forgot to edit, back from a couple months ago. It was a video of when I received a little love package from Lisa at He Qi Crystal Designs! Seeing as how I just posted my last blog post on her beautiful necklace, I thought it would be appropriate to post this as well.

Omg, I can't even believe how much tanner I've gotten this summer. I look so light in this video! O_O

As for my makeup in the vid, I skipped the eyeshadow and just did thicker black liner and a bit of metallic silver L'Oreal HIP Chrome pencil on the inner corners of my eyes. It really makes the eyes sparkle and pop compared to my usual shadow or white shimmery pencil!

Classic Crowns and Pearls Earring (I'm actually wearing these today, ironically!)
Here in Lisa's shop

Pheasant Feather Earring
I asked Lisa and she said she'll be making more similar in her store soon! Yay!

Anyway, I have a whole lot planned for this weekend including a nail art tutorial! I know it's been too long since my last one but I've been soooo overworked lately that I just haven't had the time. :/ If you are the praying sort, please pray for me since I do of course want to have good-quality posts and videos and have the energy to work overtime and still do as much as I can for my followers.

As an aside, I just want to say something. I know I should ignore the hater comments but I want you guys to know that I'm not all just about reviews, seriously. Half of the stuff I review is just because I want to share great things with you guys, and they aren't sponsored in any way. It's weird because I did reviews and all that before I was ever given products to review but you know, youtube is cray cray and a lot of those people don't actually ever visit my blog or get to know me as a person. Contrary to what some may think, I actually turn down a lot of offers and my blog isn't littered with advertisements on purpose because I'm NOT in it for ulterior motives and don't accept everything that comes my way for a quick buck.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting my blog and youtube because it really lifts me up when life seems to come too fast. I don't deserve all of the love that pours into every comment but it can really make such a huge difference in my day to read that you guys are still fighting for me when I feel like I can't fight for myself. <3

A Quick FOTD and a Gorgeous HQCD Necklace!

Hey everyone! Life is still super crazy busy and I'm going to have to apologize for not being as regular with the updates as I usually do. Rest assured, I am still checking up on comments and I've been trying to catch up on e-mails so if I haven't gotten back to you please be patient and I will respond as soon as I can!

I was going to upload a video tonight but after two failed attempts and waiting a total of about 2 hours before they errored out, I've decided to just post a quick FOTD and jewelry review instead.

Here I am wearing Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream, Mac Blot Powder, Shu Uemura Rouge Ultimate lipstick in Jupiter Brown, Rock & Republic blush in Bedroom, Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Ransom, and one of my fav NYX eyeshadows, Morocco.

This necklace is something that was NOT sponsored or gifted, but one that I saw Lisa put up in her shop and I freaaaaaaked out about and quickly bought. It's the HQCD Signature Super Nova necklace in Heliotrope and it is drop-dead-frickin-gorgeous! I've never seen anything like it. She literally made the setting using beads since the crystal is a round rivoli stone with no holes in it. (EDIT: Sorry guys, I just saw Lisa's comment about Swarovski discontinuing this particular crystal so she had to pull the listing. :( Hopefully she can make others similarly just as beautiful too!)

Did I mention that Heliotrope Swarovski crystals change colors? In some angles it's a deep purple and in other lights it has flashes of teal blue.

Even the back has a really amazing pattern of beads which keep the crystal solidly in place.

So amazing homg! I've been wearing it really often since I bought it because I wear a lot of purple and navy blue. ^.^

Also wanted to mention that the nailpolish I'm wearing here is one of my favorites, Revlon Peach Petal. It's the perfect pale pinky-peach on my skin and I wore it for 2 weeks! I even wore it twice within two months. That's pretty much a record for me considering the perverted amount of nail polish I own. Here's a better shot of the polish:

I've definitely been digging the orangey colors this summer with Revlon Peach Petal, Mac Seasonal Peach, Eyeko Coral, and a random Maybelline Coral polish I picked up from the dollar tree. Don't worry, I've still been taking pics so a nail post will come soon. ^.~

Alright, going to go play on my new Macbook Pro and see if I can get used to the new video editing program and try to forget about the crazy thunderstorm going on outside. *BOOM, BOOM*

Haul Video: Urban Decay Naked, Tokidoki Brushes, Love perfume

Oh my business you guys, this week has been ridic. I haven't been able to sit down at my computer for free time very much at all but one thing I HAVE been doing is online shopping last week. Oops. The good thing is that I've gotten some amazing things in the mail lately! *everyone cheers*

I saw some sexy ladies (hello @XPPINKX) talking about gettin' naked on Twitter today, so I had to join in. LOL. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. Urban Decay's new neutrals palette "Naked" which includes 12 deliciously wearable shades which I just got in yesterday so I was inspired to share, share share. ^.^

To reiterate from the video what I'm wearing as far as makeup goes is a base of UDPP, Mac Vex on the lid, UD Smog for contour and lower lash line, and UD Virgin for the highlight color. I applied my eye makeup this morning and haven't touched up at all so it lasted a good 12+ hours, a feat I consider to be quite impressive.

Here are pics of my goodies:

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked

Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

Tokidoki Pittura Brush Set

Close-ups of the cuteness

And my Harajuku Lovers "Sunshine Cuties" Summer Fragrance in LOVE. Love her killer shades!

Let me know what you guys think. Are you going to pick any of these up?

HG Spotlight: Rock & Republic Contrived Pressed Blush

Hey everyone! I wanted to do a new series of videos and blog posts dedicated to some of my favorite products so I decided to begin my new "HG Spotlight" series with my favorite blushes, the Rock & Republic Contrived Pressed Blushes. I know I can't altogether take credit for spreading the love of these blushes but I'm not gonna lie, these are just ridiculously good.

I first bought these blushes from the Hautelook sale at 40% off and swatched Call Me and Kinky in this post. Then, the next time the sale came around, I decided to buy X-Rated, All Nighter, Bedroom, and Lust as well since I was so impressed with the quality of the first two. A reader e-mailed me to let me know that Hautelook will be having Rock & Republic Beauty sale again on Monday, 7/12 so I thought it would be a great time to post all of my collection and swatches.

If you haven't already signed up for Hautelook, click here for an invite.  Note: Hautelook does give a store credit to the inviter after the invitee's first purchase, but as always I only post when there is actually an event I am personally buying from too. Gotta share those good deals! ;)

As an all-encompassing statement, I will say that this blush line is one of the best quality blushes that I've come across. They are gorgeously pigmented, finely milled, and are long-lasting. The actual amount of product in the pan is literally 2x the amount in a NARS blush, so they last forever. I don't even want to start on the packaging! It's weighty, shiny, and just over-the-top decadent which I LOVE.

The only downsides to these blushes are the availability (You can only buy it online and at R&R specialty stores, or occasional Hautelook sales) and the price (Original retail price is $40. Ouch!) But as I mentioned before, I got mine through Hautelook where they were $24 and compared to NARS blushes which retail at $26, it's quite a nice deal.

So with no further ado, here are the swatches which can explain 100x better than words can. :)

Now, with Sweet Swatch Action

Each blush in biggins glory. So you can see the pretty shimmers. ^O^

Call Me

All Nighter

All my babies together. Hopefully I will add even more on Monday's Hautelook sale. ^.^

And my face wearing Call Me. You can see a peek of my beloved orchid! She has 13 blooms, so pretty.

Check out the adorable necklace I bought from Lisa HQCD's store. I freakin' love the silver branch. Oh, and the watch I'm wearing in the video is from Juny's and the polish I'm wearing is Revlon Petal Peach.

And just to end with a BANG, here's a shot I took from the 5th of July, when we had a fireworks show since the 4th got rained out. I took this with my trusty pink Sony Cybershot T-90 in fireworks mode! Impressive, no? We could see the fireworks from my apartment complex so it was nice just going outside to see the pretty lights. :D

Anyway, hope that was helpful if any of you are deciding to buy something from Monday's Hautelook sale. Let me know if you decided to get something or if you already have any Rock & Republic stuff! Any other suggestions of colors I should get this time?

Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend. :)
