Adore Bi-Tone Grey Colored Contact Lens Review
11:04 AMToday's review is on some lenses that I've really been adoring (no pun intended... or is it?). Adore is a European brand of colored contacts that curiously reminds me a lot of Solotica lenses which I've posted about in the past a few times before. The thing that really makes both Adore Bi-tones and Soloticas stand out from the rest is the faded pupil hole which gives a very natural appearance to the eyes since the color blends in with your natural eye color.
First off, here is my video review of Adore Bi-Tone Grey lenses.
One thing I was really happy about was the fact that the color of these lenses is what I consider to be a true grey. On very dark eyes, all grey-toned or other white-based lenses seem to pull very blue or violet. Although Adore Bi-Tone Grey still does look slightly blue it is still much more neutral than other grey lenses I've tried.
Also, compared to my Solotica Hidrocharme Ice they are a bit less opaque but are also thinner and more comfortable. I know many people, myself included, had difficulties with Soloticas since they are quite thick and didn't allow as much oxygen to the eye as other colored lenses so this may be a good alternative. Actually the pattern of Bi-tones is VERY similar to Solotica Natural Colors since they both have the dashed-line limbal ring.
These are 3 month replacement lenses which is both a pro and con since they are probably going to be more healthy for your eyes but also can be pretty pricey compared to buying 1 set of annual lenses. Most circle lenses are around $15-$30 for 1 pair of annual lenses while Soloticas are around $75 after shipping from Brazil for a pair of annual lenses. Adore Bi-Tone lenses are currently €27.15 at lensmarketplace.com which is about $32.50 in USD. After the €5.95 ($8.27) shipping charge, they are around $40 for a pair of 3-month lenses. BUT if you are a frequent lens buyer then you are probably like me and get bored of 1 style of lenses quickly anyway. ^.^
Here are my pics:

Face-punch photo. Gotta have at least one obligatory Asian pose in there, right? XD
The packaging. They come in a really adorable prism-shaped container with two slots for blister packs.
Packaging is yummy!
Here's a close-up of the lenses themselves. Notice the dashed limbal ring and faded pupil hole.
Aaaand one last one with messy hair just because I thought it looked awesome. Haha. Gotta love good hair days!
So tell me what you think about these lenses in the comments. I personally think they are wicked and I'm happy to have found a more eye-friendly alternative to my beloved Soloticas that I can't even seem to wear anymore for how dry and tired they make my eyes. The grey color is natural and a great shade for both regular days and going out and it doesn't wash me out like bluer grey lenses do. I love them!
Disclaimer: These lenses were sent to me for review from lensmarketplace.com. I have no affiliation with them and am in no way paid for this review. My reviews, as always, are my 100% honest opinion. :)

Love the lenses on you!
ReplyDeleteWhat diameter are these lenses? Do they create the illusion of larger eyes?
wow! thats a cooLness color for lenses! they look good on you :)
ReplyDeleteThey look so pretty. I'd buy them if they didn't cost so much :0
ReplyDeleteHello Jen!!
ReplyDeleteThey look good, grey lenses sometimes make me look like I have glaucoma :( :(
I was wondering what type of lashes you are wearing, they look so nice
:)
Wow those lenses look amazing on you! Much less plastic barbie looking than many other circle lenses!
ReplyDeleteThose look gorgeous. I already have a grey pair but now I want to buy them...
ReplyDeleteThese lens look so natural and beautiful on you. BTW I stumbled on your blog and YouTube channel two weeks ago and had become a secret admirer (I finally come out!). I love your personal style and your blog so much. I had never subscribed to any blog before..you got me hooked girl!
ReplyDeleteThey look really natural and your eyes really stand out when you wear them. I wouldn't notice that thats not your real eyecolor, but we all know that your eyes are brown :) The way both colors (your own and the grey ) blend together is great, too. And that they are very comfortable is important, too, because when you wear 'bad' lenses your eyes tend to become red. So yay to these lenses!
ReplyDeleteHello my friend. It's Marta from Spain and now following your blog!! I really love your new contact lenses. YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeletePlease follow mine too =) Kisses!!!
I love the lenses on you! They look super pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe colour looks so natural and blends very well with your natural eye colour! I sell circle lenses and I actually think that the Soloticas and now these Adore lenses look so much better lol xD Too bad these Adore grey ones are only available in plano =(
ReplyDeleteOMG Jen! You look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks real. I want these lenses now! Hehe.
The packaging it comes in is super cute too!
love the lenses! they look really natural too
ReplyDeletei was also wondering what kind of nail polish you're wearing in the post.. they look really pretty!
Oh that package is so luxurious looking! I still have yet to order my very first pair of circle or colored lenses. I think i'll start off with Angel Greys.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate all your in-depth reviews & photos on lenses!
Oohhhh i like those lenses on you. They look really natural.
ReplyDeleteOh and i love the packaging!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! I just wanted to drop by and saw that I love your blog! :] I've been following for awhile now but never commented. Anyway I love the look/color of these lenses and think they look really great on you
ReplyDeleteBtw, I was wondering where your top is from? It's so cute!
Those lenses look really lovely on you! I wish I could find more inexpensive lenses places that make them in Rx.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love your nailpolish color. :)
Hi Jen! The lenses are gorgeous. You wear them really well.
ReplyDeleteYou compared them to your Solotica lenses, so I was wondering how you'd compare them to the EOS Adult Grey's? I've been looking at EOS lenses since I ran into your previous reviews and I'm still leaning towards purchasing a grey pair since the Adore lenses are a little pricey
they look fantastic and very natural. I was quite surprised to see the pic of the lenses alone. They didn't look that they'd give much color but they did!
ReplyDeleteYou are gorgeous, btw :)
omgosh those are really pretty!
ReplyDeletei was wondering how you did your makeup here? i like the simple look :)
I've been searching for pretty gray lenses for awhile...it's a shame they don't make torics! :( It's so hard to look at the large variety of lenses out there and not be able to wear them! T_T
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty and blends in so wonderfully! So gorgeous as usual Jen :)
Those look great on you, Jen!
ReplyDeleteQuick question, are you still using double eyelid tape these days? If you are, which brand were you using for this video? They look really natural!
They're sooo pretty on you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the pretty pictures and review~ I'm still saving up for some similar lenses...
Whoa, these are so pretty on you.Shame,i cant buy any here, these things are so expensive here. But these look great on you.Have a nice day.
ReplyDeletethese are really pretty lenses, they make your eyes look bigger but the diameter is actually smaller than most circle lenses!
ReplyDeletethe colour looks fabulous on you!!
ReplyDeleteit's great that you were able to find lenses that actually turn out grey! please show us how the yellow ones look on you when you get to trying them out ^^

ReplyDeleteOoo Jen...look really cool. You make me wanna try these baby out.
ReplyDeleteLove those lens
ReplyDeletereally wanna get them (^w^)
You've mentioned in in the vdo that they're not the most comfortable ones you've tried, they were ok for comfort.
So i was wondering whats the most comfortable brand for you? Cus I have really sensitive eyes I tried GEO and they dried my eyes out so bad I had a headache 2 hours after putting them on =(
I think they are prettier than circle lenses, because they don't look as fake as circle lenses do.
ReplyDeleteIt really looks natural and pretty on you! :)
the last pic is so sexy!
ReplyDeleteQUESTION How long did it take for you to get your lenses?
ReplyDeletewow you are very pretty!! love the blog
ReplyDeletecome follow the first ever fashion blog from a guys POV, let He know what you think
fashionbyhe.blogspot.com

ReplyDeletewow those are so pretty and natural. I am probably going to purchase them :) Just wondering, how is the comfort level?
ReplyDeleteSorry to be offtopic, but I was just curious. What nail polish are you wearing? It's really cute!
ReplyDeleteYou are so pretty! Those contacts make you look so exotic! I love your hair too:-)
ReplyDeleteI really like it. :D I hope I get to see you do more reviews from this brand in the future. In assorts of other colors, Like hazel etc. :) Keke.
ReplyDeletethose lenses look beautiful on you ! :)
ReplyDeleteLenses look really natural on you! I like them more than your Solotica!
ReplyDeleteI have a question, is Adore Tri Tone the same as Adore C?
wow this colour is really nice xo
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty colour! They looks very natural, as you said they blend fantastically! =) You look so pretty! Hope your having a great week! <3
ReplyDeleteRebecca: These have a 14.0 diameter and don't enlarge eyes.
ReplyDeleteHannah: I'm wearing the discontinued Sugar criss cross lashes.
Amanda: My top is Aerie by American Eagle. :)
Anonymous: The polish is China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint
Florence: These are less bright than Adult Greys but they blend in better and I want to say they have a larger pupil hole. The only thing is that the old Adult series was re-designed so I don't know if the new adult series will be the same. So far it looks like they changed the pattern. :p
Lily: I believe this was just my everyday makeup look. Very natural soft coppery shadows except with a bit of thicker liner than usual. :)
Jocelyn: No tape this day, just lashes which caused a double lid. :)
Anonymous: Thanks for letting me know, I sent them a msg to remove the pics.
Anonymous: Max Pure Pinks were actually quite comfy for me.
Anomyous: I'm not sure how long shipping takes since they sent it to me for review so I didn't actually order it myself from the site.
Bunnyface: No the tri-tone is more like Freshlook colorblends in patten. The C-series isn't out yet. ;)
Hi, you look so pretty in all of the pictures! Can you please do a tutorial for this look or for the look you were wearing in your G&G Max Pure Pink Circle Lens review video? I think both looks are so perfect and I'd really like to see how you lined your lower lashline because it looks so natural and everytime I do it it just looks like a harsh line. And also, your blog is amazing!
ReplyDeleteare u still pasting the eyelid tapes or have u gone for eyelid surgery alr? the double eyelids looked very believable. do let me know jen :)
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing! The packaging is way cool!
ReplyDeletei love the lenses on you!
ReplyDeletehave never had the chance to try on lenses before /boo
oh by the way, whats on your nails? re-fresh mint CG?
ReplyDeleteLove those contacts and your nails!
ReplyDeleteJen, I love love your bangs. Maybe do a video on how you prepare your bangs for the day? I'm always trying to tame mine, but I don't think it wants to. Awesome photos :)
ReplyDeleteCheers,
xx
I love your lenses reviews! I never knew Adore made such pretty lenses! Since I'm used to pinky paradise lenses, I initially thought that the prices were a bit off, but good thing it can be a good alternative for solotica.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :)
Those look great! Can you also do a review of the yellow pair that you have?
ReplyDeleteThank you for this review ^^ I was looking for european lenses because i have some trouble with circle lens this time.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute ^^
I've been wanting grey colored lenses for a while... do they come in a prescription?
ReplyDeleteThey look great on you btw :)
Hey Jen, omg i love ur blog! you are gorgeous! those lenses are great on you! btw i was really really wondering how did you do the close up snapshot of your eyes? what kind of software did you use? would you mind tell me? i was curious for over a month! lols Thank You
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing this post I ordered a pair of the Adore Bi-Tone contacts in yellow. I have really dark eyes, almost black, and even though they are so much more comfortable than my Solotica contacts the color is super dark and only looks good in pictures with flash or in bright light. Pics/review on my site if anyone is interested.
ReplyDeleteThey look great on you Jen! If my eyes were lighter I'd get more of this line.
Qing: I took the photo using the Macro settings on my camera. It's the setting with the little flower. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Jen! I purchased these lenses after seeing your review and I'm disappointed on how they look on me. My eyes are very, very dark brown so these don't show up well. They look like a very dark gray. I do love the style though. Anyways, I'm interested in the Solotica Ices but not sure if I should go for hidrocharme or hidrocor? Do you think that the hidrocharme ice will show up light gray on very dark eyes?
ReplyDeleteHi jen i bought these contacts after doing some research of different brands but these are just what I wanted. But here's a question for you...did u happen to experience any sort ofheadache from these lenses? I absolutely love them. The have my base curve and diameter I was so longing for and the color is very natural looking. BUT after wearing them only 2 hours I had an excruiating headache. I had to take them out. Im thinking ill try again just to see if it really was the contacts or my two kids that gave me a headache..lol thanks
ReplyDeleteIn other photos online and videos of others reviewing Adore Bi-Tone, I can see the lines and that looks fake. I can't see that on you - but would you say the Solotica are better in that regard? They seem to be from what I've seen online.
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! Love ur site! Love ur reviews! I too have used the Soloticas but they are rough on my eyes. I will defintely try the Adore. I saw that u had the yellow ones too. Did u try those on and how did those look? I loved the Soloticas in Mel color. Wondering if Adore has a similiar one as well. Please let me know ur thoughts! Thanks! BONNY XOXOXO ; )*
ReplyDeletehi sorry if this is late but when i looked these lenses up online they only have the option of choosing one prescription. There was no option for left or right eye.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh you and your pictures are soo pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of camera do you use?
Hi, I just left you a comment/question about Soloticas, but I forgot to ask you what brand and color of lipstick are you wearing for your Adore grey color contacts video? I've been looking for a color like that for a while now, and that looks beautiful on you. Please let me know :) Thanks
ReplyDeleteShauna
do you know if these are purely fashion lenses or if they're appropriate/won't worsen prescription eye problems?
ReplyDeleteOn the site it seems you can only get the lenses with the same strength in each eye, not different strengths for each eye which is what people with vision problems usually need...
ty
Would you say these are super comfortable for everyday wear? (I know I'm late asking this!) I just ordered 2 pairs myself.
ReplyDeletezomg ; eye makeup tutorial ? :L
ReplyDeleteI ordered these months ago and wore them twice. i did not get them with prescription. These are very beautiful lenses, very natural looking however the whites of my eyes turned red (veins started popping out). im thinking no oxygen was able to pass thru. i wore them for 3 hours and had to take them out. man i so wanted them to be "the ones".
ReplyDeleteHi, the lens look good on you. I never wear contact lens before but u make me feel like wanna try it. haha. Do you wear contact lens frequently? Will it harm our eyes? Have you ever experienced any problems due to wearing contact lens? sorry for throwing so much questions on you =P
ReplyDeleteI actually rarely wear lenses. Make sure before trying them out you do your research and see an eye doctor to learn about how to care for the lenses and your eyes. You only have one set!
Delete"On very dark eyes, all grey-toned or other white-based lenses seem to pull very blue or violet."
ReplyDeleteWhich ones were more *violet"? :)
It often depends on your own eye color. My eyes are reddish-toned so most grey lenses look violet on me but if you have more neutral eyes they may go more blue. Otherwise it just depends on each lens and how much pigment they have and what shade. :)
DeleteWhat lipstick are you wearing in these photos and do you have BB cream on?
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't remember what I wore since it was 2 years ago!
DeleteDo you have a pictures where you put the yellow lenses from the same brand?
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely! I was wondering, do you happen to know the differences between yellow, honey, and hazel from this brand? I'm looking through various websites and videos to try to differentiate the 3, I see that yellow probably gives the most color change on brown eyes, however I'm torn between hazel and honey. (they seem awfully similar) Any advice is appreciated, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat review, thanks for sharing it here !
ReplyDeleteyou look super pretty with colored lens.
Just for your info. you can also check out www.contactlensxchange.com for more exciting brand colored circle lenses.
Enjoy and stay pretty : )
