Hey guys! Today's Manicure Monday is another Spring-appropriate pastel that I've been really into lately. Mint greens have been popular for the last couple of years and if anything, that trend has only been strengthened with Pantone choosing Emerald as its color of the year this year. Maybe it's because St. Patrick's Day wasn't too long ago, but I felt like a two-toned french tip using mint and emerald polishes would look great for the changing seasons. Enter China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint and CND Green Scene!
Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Today I wanted to share a very special Manicure Monday because it's actually a fun and easy-to-follow nail art. It's been a really long time since I've done character nail art but every once in a while I think it's a creative way to express yourself and give a little happy boost whenever you glance down at your fingers. I've gotten loads of compliments on this look so I wanted to share it with you as well! :)
Check out the step-by-step tutorial below!
Happy Monday everyone! After a few months' hiatus of regularly painting my nails, I've gotten back into the routine of weekly manicures and thought it would be fun to share with you what's been 'decking my digits each week. To kick off my first "Manicure Monday" I have for you a very holiday-appropriate color, CND Indian Rhubarb.
Hey everyone! So a couple of weeks ago I was browsing the Sephora sale section, as ya do, and came across some lovely train cases that were on sale. I have been keeping my eyes open for a nice basic train case for a while so I decided to make an small order.
Little did I know that evil Sephora had planned a 15% off VIB coupon to be sent out only a week later! Needless to say, I decided to do a double order and wanted to share with all of you what I decided to purchase. (It may include some paper, plastic, and even a laser gun. Bwahahaha...)
Video, a full list of products, and what's on my nails below!
Oh man, my life has been so insane since getting back from Cali! The travel and jet lag have been taking a toll on my skin and I've been fighting an on-and-off sore throat that I'm sure I picked up at one of the several airports I stopped by. Eek! I promise I will get to the Cali-heavy blog posting soon but for today, I will be catching up with my favorites video for the month of June. :)

Makeup Forever Mat Velvet Foundation in 40

Josie Maran bronzer in Beach 1
Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner
CND Tropic Coral (similar here, here, and here)

I spent a third of this month traveling so I only had a few things with me in my makeup bag. (Now that I think about it, I just remembered I recorded a video on its contents so you will be able to see what I took very soon!) My limited space access really defined a lot of the things that became my favorites this month for both skincare and makeup. I think I might have trouble straying from some of my favorites now because they did me so well with a limited supply of cosmetics at hand!
In any case, I hope that my mostly "hits" this month were enjoyable and helpful if you are interested in these products. I guess it's a good thing if I liked a lot of things versus not, right? ;)
I'd like to know, do you have a separate set of "travel" makeup that you take with you or do you just bring all of your daily makeup wherever you go? Let me know in the comments!
