Kohl's Coupon Code & My Favorite Bra

3:01 PM

Just wanted to pop in to tell you guys that, while running around town for a few errands, I decided to stop into Kohl's to find a bra. I'm not a frequent Kohl's shopper, but my very favorite go-to bra is made by Lily of France and sometimes goes on sale at Kohl's for around $15.

It's called the "True Match" bra and it is bar none the most comfortable bra I've owned. The padding is made of memory foam so it is very soft and forms to your body. It feels like you, not padding (which I'm sure the people you hug might appreciate!) For most days, that's all I require. A bra that is comfy, soft, has a nice shape, and looks good under clothes. This seems to be extremely difficult for those on the small side of size 32A, but I literally had around 5 of these bras in different colors.

Today I scoured the racks and could NOT FIND IT! I checked the discontinued bras rack and saw a few, but none in my size. I've had to throw all but 2 of these away because I wore them until they broke so I freaked out. When I got home, I went the kohls.com and bought 3 of them. :P

So for any of you petite-chested girls who want a bra recommendation, this is it. Grab it now while you can. Kohl's has a coupon code, THREEDAYS, which goes through tomorrow (July 10-12) for 15% off everything. This basically almost covers shipping and these babies are already on clearance for $11.99. I should've bought more. Auuughhhhhh!

Hope you guys take advantage of this! I know I will be missing this bra for the rest of my life. :( :( :(

  1. Jen, try Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Demi Bra; it has that memory foam as well and is really comfortable and they have size 32A! I wear this bra and I really like it but I wish it had more padding haha

  2. Oh noooo! There's nothing smaller than a 32A? :( Gaaah. Doesn't look like Kohls even carries 32AA.

  3. My favorite is Victoria Secret's Body Demi Bra. I also heard American Eagle Aeries are good and comfortable for petites. I wish I can try the Kohl bra you're talking about but I'm currently on no-buy haha Thank for telling us about it!

  4. bras are always such a hit or miss for me. i hate how sometimes the padding is weird after a few washes, the fit is different for each brands...etc etc... i think i should check out this brand cuz you recommend it

  5. Anonymous and innerchild: My favorite Victoria's Secret bra is the Biofit because the 32A fits wonderfully, but it's quite expensive! And it's comfortable but not AS comfortable as the True Match. And secret embrace wave is nice too, but didn't start fitting me until I gained a couple pounds. Haha.

Cynthia: You should still try this one! The padding molds to you so it fits smaller chests easier too.

MiuMiu: True Match didn't lose its shape in the wash! The memory foam goes back to its shape when you wear it since it softens with your body heat. That's a big reason I loved it, since I am too lazy to wash it by hand all the time.

  6. Thanks, Jen! I'll have to try these out! I have trouble finding bras that fit me properly, so my aunt sent me some bras from Korea...but they aren't exactly my size D:

  8. i used to pretty much wear VS exclusively but i decided to try the calvin klein bras from costco. it was hard to find 32/34a's but omg i LOVE THEM. i'm never buying VS bras again! there's not much of a color selection but so much cheaper, comfortable, and makes my chest look much nicer. sometimes the wires on VS bras poke me in the middle and it hurts but the CK ones have yet to bother me like that.

  9. phew! thanks for this GREAT entry! i paid nearly full price for these at macy's a while back and wore it sparingly since they were my absolute fave and i was afraid of losing them. you are so right; these have got to be the best 32A bras i've ever tried. i was so excited to read on your blog that these were on sale at kohls! i've stocked up on them. :) i hope they don't discontinue and keep them on sale online.

  10. Sophie: I love bras from Korea or different parts of Asia, but the size 75 band is too big on me sometimes, otherwise the cups are too... pointy? Lol. Now I only get bras after I try them on first because there is such a huge difference between brands for the same size!

izumi: I know, so devastating right? T.T I wish it weren't so hard finding the perfect bra!

Anonymous2: I also have a couple Calvin Klein bras. They are up there in my list! Sometimes I can find them for cheap at Marshall's or TJ Maxx, like $14, and they are well made. :)

Elle: I'm so glad you stocked up too! It's so sad when I have to throw one away because it is over-worn...like a funeral. But now I just use those lingerie bags for washing, and always air dry and it seems to help the longevity. I'll obviously wear these last ones with care too!

  11. The pointy cups are exactly my problem! The bands are a tad big but tolerable, but the cups are strangely pointy so I have a weird bubble thing going on in the cup when I wear them.

  12. Try Tag bras! They are comfy too and come in difference sizes and colors! It has a gorgeous wavy trim that fits the body very well!

  15. Hey Jen! I just got mine in and I wanted to thank you for recommending this bra. It's sooooo comfortable and affordable. Being small chested... it's difficult to find a comfortable bra, let alone one that looks so cute! Thanks again! :)

  16. OMG I love these bras too! I've actually found three at ross for around 6 bucks a while ago, in light pink, darker pink, and cream. I loved them, it's great to see that someone else loves emm too! They stand up real well in the washer and dryer. =D And I love ck bras too, simple and clean shape that's easy to wear.

I like VS bras, but the ones that I've gotten loses it's shape when I throw em in washing machine and dryer. I know your suppose to wash em by hand, but sometimes one forgets or gets lazy. =P

  17. I personally swear by GapBody. Especially if you are on the smaller side and don't really want something that is heavily padded (like VS tend to be). Just enough padding for a nice shape and no nips.

  18. Hi Jen, I have followed you for a while and really like your style ^^

Yes I agree with you in the part that Asian bras tend to be pointy for some reason...

I have tried VS Secret Embrace, theirs are definitely good, people can't tell you are wearing a bra even if you have tight top on :D, but expensive, and need special cares, which I am lazy to do ^^ so I reserves VS for special occasions only. So I got into the quest of looking for casual bras :)

I tried Gap. At first I really like it. But after a while the bra lost its shape (maybe because I was unlucky and got the wrong one), and become quite strange when I wear it... I don't know how to explain, and I have no idea if other bra may be different, because I stop buying from them.

Later I have tried Aerie, I like their bras a lot, comfy, fits well, last for really long time, look good enough for not-too-tight tops, many lovely and fun colors, cheaper, and I can just use washing machines. I use theirs everyday afterward.

Now after reading your post, I finally try Lily... and I have to admit I immediately fell in love with it ^^ Feel much softer than Aerie's, and I can wear it all day without starting feeling any discomfort (may be because it's new...) The shape is good. This will be my new casual bras. I am so glad I know your blog and read about this bra. I am happy that I bought... 2 for me lol. I wear 34B by the way.
