Manicure Monday: Layla Hologram Effect Polish - Misty Blush

For today's Manicure Monday I wanted to share with you a new polish I recently purchased, Laya Holograph Effect Nail Polish in 15 Misty Blush. As some of you know, holographic finish polishes are ones that have a rainbow effect on the nail and have a shimmery effect like glitter but without the roughness or difficulty of removal. 

What was that you said? Glittery but not a pain in the butt to remove? Yes indeed! This happens to be why holographic polishes are my favorite polish finish.

Fox Halloween Tutorial!

Today's tutorial is my rendition of the quintessential "sexy" animal costume. We've all seen the cute mouse or sexy cat roaming around each Halloween with their face makeup being no more than a black button nose and liquid eyeliner whiskers, right? This year I wanted to have something a little more out of the ordinary.

Some of you may remember my Lion Halloween Tutorial from a couple years ago. Because I had so much fun doing a feminized, semi-realistic animal before it made me want to try my hand again. I had this fox costume from my visit to Leg Avenue last year so I remixed the makeup to match the sly, exotic nature of the animal while retaining some of the realistic elements of shading and coloration of an actual red fox.

After a few months' hiatus of regularly painting my nails, I've gotten back into the routine of weekly manicures and thought it would be fun to share with you what's been 'decking my digits each week. How To Apply False Eyelashes

Hey everyone! As Halloween and holiday times start creeping up on us, the advent of many festive parties come to our attention as well. What will we wear? Gold or red sequins? Boots or heels?

One accessory that is fabulous at accenting our look and is perfect for the season is something you may not have thought of: false eyelashes!

Whether you are a novice and want to amp up that lion costume for Halloween, or you are a lash pro and are curious for tips you may not have thought of before, I wanted to share a bit of my knowledge of lashes that I've picked up over the years. I'll admit it, I'm lash obsessed!

My Little Ponies "Rainbow Dash" Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I've been quite this excited to share a tutorial with you. There's just something about bright, rainbow colors that always puts a huge smile on my face and I hope this tutorial can do the same for you. :)

Today's look is inspired by the My Little Ponies character Rainbow Dash. The bright, gorgeous colors of her mane made me think that it would make a perfect Halloween look this year!

Hyuna "Gangnam Style" Makeup Tutorial

Hey everyone! I'm sure by now you've all heard the super-viral Kpop song by Psy called "Gangnam Style". He's been everywhere from Ellen to SNL to local radio stations and it's no wonder considering the song is insanely catchy, comical, and has a corny dance to boot. 

Making a cameo appearance in the video is 4Minute's Hyuna who had her signature eyeliner and a funky, fresh-faced look. The makeup tutorial requests came rolling in and of course I was happy to oblige. :)
