❤ Summer 2014 Lookbook ❤
9:00 AMHey guys! Summer is fully in swing and I am so feeling the fashion right now. Compared to years past, it seems like what's popular this season is actually really flattering on the body with crop tops and high-waisted things that emphasize a curve without looking too revealing.
For my Summer Lookbook, I ventured out to the lovely and iconic Santa Monica Pier to do a bit of beachgazing, people watching, and yes, even some cotton candy eating. Hehehe...
Before I get into the outfits I did want to highlight my nail polish which is Covergirl Plumped-Up Plum which I am completely obsessed with at the moment and will definitely do a Mani Monday on soon. It's a really perfect summer purple which isn't too dark or light. OK, now that we've covered that let's move onto the outfit recaps!

If you are around LA this summer, be sure to check out Santa Monica Pier and don't forget to stop by the fruit cup stand and get the mangoes, pineapple, and watermelon with hot sauce. YUM YUM! If the lines aren't long you can usually take a spin on the roller coaster twice in a row. ;) Here's to an amazing summer!

I'm loving look number 2 especially with the hat, shorts and sneakers! That is my classic look for summer since I love sneakers haha. I'm loving any looks with kimono/shorts combo as well. You pull off the Mad Maxi look really well too! Loving the deep cuts on the side with the bandeau =P

Jen! I love what you wore under the first outfit, the yellow off-the-shoulder top. I actually thought the straps were part of your top at first. What is it, and where did you get it? Thanks for your videos! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh thank you. :) I just got the yellow fluttery crop from Topshop! Direct link is under the outfit photo. :)

I love the looks! Especially the one with sneakers! I was wondering if you had an eyelash curler recommendation? I have short, straight, Asian lashes that always seem to droop down after I apply mascara :(
ReplyDelete2nd and 4th outfits are my most favorite! LOVE that Tokidoki hat! Loved this post/lookbook overall! Can't wait for more! I just love how casual and fun most of your outfits are, so laid back, at least in my opinion. ^__^
ReplyDeleteI love all your outfits! You are a huge inspiration to 4'11 girls everywhere. :')
