7 Deadly Sins of Beauty!
4:31 PM
Hello everyone! Lately there has been a tag that I've seen a lot of other beauty gurus doing that I thought was really cute. It's called the "7 Deadly Sins of Beauty" which are questions that relate to each of the 7 deadly sins, such as Greed, Sloth, Lust, and so on.
As much as we all try to be good about keeping those vices in check, come on, we are talking about beauty products here! Surely everyone has a few deadly sins hidden in their closet, am I right?
QUESTIONS!
1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
ON ME:
H&M rose gold bow elastic (similar/similar)
J Crew shirt (mine is actually this color but on screen it looks like this/this)
Forever 21 yellow bracelet (similar with bow/similar in neon/Tory Burch)
Michael Kors Blair watch
Since I know I'll get questions about some of my favorite items I mentioned in the video, I wanted to make it easy for you to find them should you want to know more.
- I have a full tutorial using Wet & Wild gel liner which you can see here: Perfect Winged Eyeliner.
- I've previously mentioned the Clarisonic Mia brush in skincare posts. I have the pink but it also comes in lots of colors including Turquoise, Graphite, Garnet, Yellow, Sapphire, Lavender, Kelly Green, and even Zebra and Jaguar prints!
- The most delicious smelling Lioele Blooming Glosses are still one of my favorite glosses of all time. I got mine from Pretty and Cute and you can find swatches here. If you use code klove10 at checkout you can receive 10% off Korean products including Lioele as well!
- If you want to torture yourself, you can see how much I love Rock & Republic blushes in this past post. Seriously, they are amazing so don't click it. I've warned you. ;)
I hope you guys enjoyed the tag and I'd love to see any of your responses! If you decide to do a blog post yourself, feel free to leave a link in the comments or leave a video response here. Have a great rest of the weekend!

I've really been enjoying all the responses to this tag.
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky that I'm not a blush girl and don't feel the need to compulsively hunt down the Rock & Republic blushes (though peeking at the post, Lust looks super pretty).
haha you make me want to try those rock and republic blushes! so sad they're discontinueddd. I also really want to see that fishtail tutorial, looks cute on you :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, I have extremely small feet as well. I wear size 3. It is so difficult for me to find shoes that are cute looking. I feel your pain. All the sites that sell petite shoes are relatively expensive. It is dream of mine where petite shoes are more affordable. For a couple years now, I have been buying shoes at cinderellaofboston.com and and they carry shoe sizes from 2 to 5.5. If you have time, check out this site.
ReplyDeleteLoved the tag video! I share your love for the R&R blush and have collected quite a few of them since I watched your earlier video!!

I have a similar problem of being cursed with small feet. I'm in between a 4.5 and a size 5, and always have trouble finding (affordable) heels as well. You're right, the only place that gives you somewhat of a selection is Nordstrom! So wanted to share a site I came across while reading Refinery29: www.shoesofprey.com. They custom make adorable shoes starting at size 2.5! I haven't personally ordered from them, but they have so much to choose from! It's also really fun just to mess around with the designs too.
ReplyDeleteCute! I think my best purchase was foundation in any form. I love looking totally freshed faced and simple, and some times all you need is a little touch up to get that sexy just got out of bed with a perfect complexion look.

i love watching this tag, it's so creative and funny. although the "lust" question like you said is totally not related to beauty at all! anyway, the tarte amazonian clay blushes are awesome too, maybe they can replace your beloved R&R blushes :)

I love all your videos and always look forward to them! I love how you are wearing your necklace in this video, I LOVE jewelry rings and earrings mostly and i do own a few necklaces but for the life of me I JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO WEAR THEM. It really sucks. i was wondering if you could do a video on how to wear necklaces. For example what necklaces go with different shirt necklines and different styles and even dresses, also how much other jewelry is acceptable to match up with it. I would LOVE that. I love the longer necklaces but just always feel like I clash. It would be the greatest help! thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat video :)
ReplyDeletei've been loving this tag! <3
ReplyDeleteSO sad they discontinued R&R blushes - i've always wanted to try them...
I bought a couple of R&R Blushes because of your HG videos Jen! I actually have one of the Rock and Republic for sale on my blog... it's more of a bronzer cause it's bronzey and has tiny gold specks but yeah I only have 1 left for sale cause the other one is already sold! (Color is Shameless).
ReplyDeleteIt's very lightly swatched with clean brush and if anyone's interested I have more pictures and information on my blog post!

ReplyDeleteHi! Just watched you video and learned that you seem to have the same "problem" as me (very small feet)!
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you already know this but, I just happen to discover that Zara Kids is great for nice sandals and ballet flats!
Super unexpensive (got 2 sandals for 50$), bright colors, they have adult styles (so not always with glitter and pink ribbon on the side) and in leather too!
And lots of people just asked me where I got them and were very disappointed that they didn't have small feet! :-)
However, this is only for sandals and flats...I haven't discovered a place for high heels...do you know any good places?
By the way, you look gorgeous! :)
oooo love yours and your blog!
ReplyDeletei did the tagg to please check it out :) xxx
