Hey everyone! I hope your 2013 has kicked off with an amazing start! Before we go steamrolling into everything this year has to offer, I wanted to wrap up the very last of 2012 with December's collective favorites. :)

Just wanted to mention a little blurb about my skincare routine since I talked about the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense. This moisturizer has really helped my skin regain its balance while my previous bout of acne healed. After purchasing these Sephora goodies from the VIB sale, I got too eager and majorly broke out! I know, I know... I need to listen to my own advice and try 1 product at a time so I know if it will work with my skin. Fortunately, my skin seems to really love Moisture Surge Intense with no breakouts so I can start slowly testing out those higher-end products again. I'll try to keep you in the loop with my process!
A few other things I was really excited about in December were my fashion purchases. It was my birthday month (Dec 14th baby) and my first Christmas in LA. I had my first housewarming/birthday party at my apartment here and the cute sparkly top in the video was what I wore for the event! Also, Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats snagged for 40% off, What What! I had to mention them in this month's I Heart December aka my non-beauty favorites video which you can find on my vlog channel From Jen.

Happy New Year Jenn! I was wondering, how come Youngblood is your mineral foundation of choice? How does it compare to Bare Essentials or other brands available at Sephora/Ulta? I need a good formula that is long lasting with a natural finish for my NC-30/35 skin but I can't seem to find Youngblood at any local retailers and want to try swatches before ordering online. Love your reviews and have found most of my HG's thanks to you!

I really want to love the Tarte blushes. I even have the Exposed one because of you. However, it doesn't even last half-way through the day. Do you have a trick to make them last longer?

I got the birthday pack too and I LOVE them :) But be careful with your Fresh sugar lip balms don't leave them in your pockets or apply to often in a day they'll become soft and break off of the stick. I've had that problem happen to me twice with the rose sugar lip balm (once during the summer the other during winter :( ). However if your lips are becoming a bit chapped their amazing for hydration and getting rid of dead skin (particularly the Fresh sugar lip balm) off of your lips <3
