3 MINUTE MAKEUP CHALLENGE!!

Happy hump day everyone! To get you out of your mid-week slump, I wanted to share a video I posted which is the best kind: short and slightly self-deprecating.

I was recently tagged by Lindy aka bubzbeauty on Youtube to do the 3 Minute Makeup Challenge which is exactly as it sounds. You must do an entire makeup look, as best you can, in only 3 minutes. Applying makeup in itself can be a challenge but to do an entire look in 3 minutes is prettttttttty crazy. I'm pretty much still sweating just thinking about it, but to your benefit it brings the lols. ;)

For those wondering, the nail polish I was wearing was Essie's Mint Candy Apple which I am currently obsessed with. :)

I don't want to give away too many spoilers about the results of the video for those blog readers who can't watch the video yet, but I am *itching* to redo this (in the safety and comfort of no-camera zone) just because I know now what to do to be the most baller 3-minute makeup applier ever. 

That's how you learn from life, man. Stress, then CONFIDENCE!

    Fabulous it's really gorgeous, you make so good, i can't make so beautiful in 3 minutes, I need 5 but not with false eyelashes because I've never wear false eyelashes.... Fabulous I love it ^^

    That's amazing!!! Your 3 minute makeup challenge results look better than when I spend half an hour doing my makeup!! I think I'd need at least three minutes just for false lashes, lol! :P

    3 minutes for makeup? I need 3 min to recover from my morning reflection! :P

    Real question, what is the best ways to pick up makeup on to your brush? (or any other applicator?)

    Also, I'm always scared of applying too much makeup. Bathroom vs natural light can be so different. Any guidelines for knowing when you've put on too much makeup?

    sometimes when I wake up too late I apply my makeup in 5 mins but I only use liquid foundation, mascara and blush just to look 'alive' throughout the day LOL. I dont think I would do anything like you did in 3 mins... it looks great!

    It got so intense watching you do the lashes!! I was like, she's not gonna make, she's not gonna make it :S but then.....that was so impressive!! It was pretty ballsy to even attempt to do false lashes but to actually succeed?!

    Hi Jen,

    I have followed your channel/blog for almost a year now and I take a lot of product recommendation from you. (Most have been very successful that I use on a daily basis).

    I am mostly writing to get some help regarding a particular brand Skin 79. I recently decided to try the new Triple Function BB Cream(Orange) bottle but received a product that might not be authentic.

    I was wondering if you are aware whether they are using manufacturing or expiration date now? Prettyandcute states they have moved to expiration date as of 2013.

    What is your view on this? DId you by any chance get any SKIN 79 on your recent Korea Trip?

    Any information will be much appreciated.

    Very nice! I didn't think you could do the eyelashes with such a short time. One quick (small) request: could you find another word to replace "janky" in your vocabulary?
    I know it's part of the whole urban dictionary, but it's actually an Indian girl's name (mine). I ask this because you're aware of other cultures. It's like someone in India using the word "sally" to mean messed up.
    This used to come up for me about 10 years ago and somehow that word is making a comeback! Politics aside, we live in a country with a president named Barak so I'm hoping names of other cultures can be appreciated.
