Wedding Photoshoot Pics & 5th Anniversary

Hello everyone! My weekend has started off to be a wonderful, relaxing time spent with family and, of course, my loving husband. We just celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary yesterday (June 21st) and I can't believe it's already been this long that we have loved and supported each other through every up and down, which have been plentiful yet bearable since I get to share the laughter and tears with my best friend.

In lieu of traditional anniversary presents, we thought it would be an incredible experience to have wedding photos taken while we visited Korea since Koreans really know how to compose breathtaking couples pictures. It's a big deal there so I knew it would be the best souvenir we could take home with us.

Thank you to Drama Studio in Cheongju for letting us shoot with you on such short notice and for capturing some of my favorite images that Ben and I have ever had taken!

Also, to the love of my life, thank you for always being there to support me and for coming along on this crazy journey that life has taken us. I know you've always believed in me and were my biggest fan back before I wore makeup, before had or did anything that I could be proud of. You've always loved me just for being Jen and I will always love you just for being Ben.

Happy Anniversary babe! Year 5 of marriage feels just like the first day we dated 12 years ago. I love you and thank God for every moment we get to spend together. <3

Just to add a bit of more info about the experience, I did my own makeup (although the studio provides makeup services), the studio beautician did my hair, and all of the outfits and accessories were provided by the studio for the shoot. If any of you are interested in getting wedding pictures in Korea, you just need to bring yourself and your loved one. All in all, it was one of the most memorable parts of my trip!

I had my 8th anniversary on the 20th June, nothing too grand but just a small celebration. I am hoping to have a romantic getaway comes our 10th anniversary. (^_^)

    We celebrated our 19th anniversary on the 18th of June. We did not do anything more than a great dinner because we are saving for next year when we plan to fulfill our lifelong dream of going to France (we are both French Canadians with French roots.) I remember for our 10th (which seems like 2 years ago), our families had surprised us in a very fancy restaurant. At 15, I offered my beloved a new wedding band with diamonds on it, while he gave me an eternity ring with diamonds all around. I can't remember if we did anything special for our 5th...
    Congrats you both, may you be as happy as you are now in 20 years! :)

    Happy belated anniversary! Wow, can't believe it's been five years. I've been following your blog for so long now and I feel like I've grown with you the last few years. And wow, 12 years ago?     you know, I am too, right now I'm so stupid with make up, so I never wear it. and this is really makes my bf surprised that he thought I always wear it. (He's russian and I'm Indonesian. and All the girls in russia usually wear make up everyday). So, right now I'm trying to learn about make up, I want to be beautiful too :)
