Manicure Monday: Deborah Lippmann Spring Buds

9:00 AM

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Today I have a lovely spring green shade to share with you which is absolutely perfect for today's greeny festivities. I have literally been loving wearing Spring Buds from Deborah Lippmann's Spring Reveries collection this past week and have gotten endless compliments on the color as well. It's such a unique, lively, and flattering pastel that is a perfect addition to my polish collection so I can't wait to share with you the whole review.

I was initially drawn to this color because I obviously wanted to pick a green to fall in line with the holiday, but wanted some kind of non-traditional shade instead of going with a typical kelly green. Spring Buds ended up being a lovely choice that is both a true green (not minty at all) and also not leaning neon like plenty of other chartreuse polishes tend to be.

Here I wore a base of OPI Nail Envy with 3 coats of Spring Buds (2 would suffice for most people) and topped with Seche Vite. Like its sister Blue Orchid (my review), this polish had fantastic opacity and wear and I'm so happy to say it actually looks really fabulous on my warm skintone.

All in all, I have been loving Spring Buds even more than expected. The color is a standout in my collection and will look great on those looking for a fresh spring polish this year! If interested, Deborah Lippmann Spring Buds is available now for $18 at Sephora, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus.

Readers, what is on your nails this St. Patrick's Day? What's your favorite green polish? Let me know in the comments!
