As you may remember from last year, I am a huge fan of Nordstrom's annual Anniversary sale. In my heart it is the biggest and best sale of the year and I intentionally hold off on beauty and clothing purchases in advance knowing I will have a bit more to splurge when the sale hits. You may be wondering why the internets go up in flames about it and the answer is this: there are 30-50% discounts on brand new Fall items in advance of the season which will subsequently go up to full price once the sale period is complete.

I already made my Early Access order (for cardholders. I have the debit card which is handy since you don't have to worry about payments.) but the sale also opens to the public on July 17th. As a heads up, items do tend to sell out quickly so it's better to wishlist or purchase sooner than later. Even without early access you can still browse and wishlist items, which makes for easier shopping later.

I've made plans to film a massive haul video as soon as I get my items in but I wanted to give some recommendations for those of you who have early access or want guidance through the sale. Trust, I have picked through the site and found a few items I absolutely adore.

BEAUTY

1. Jo Malone 'Nectarine Blossom & Honey' Collection

You guys know I'm a huuuuuge sucker for Jo Malone perfumes and Nectarine Blossom & Honey is my #1 fav signature scent. It's the perfect mix of fresh + fruity + sweet notes and I am so excited to layer body wash, body cream, and cologne from this 3-piece set so the scent lingers longer.

2. Clinique Take The Day Off Set

Clinique's Take The Day Off is one of the best dual-phase waterproof makeup removers out there and it will kick even the most waterproof mascara's butt (yes, even everything-proof Fairydrops). This one comes with a handy travel remover as well which you can refill as necessary.

3. YSL Glossy Stain Exclusive Trio

I've been dying to try YSL's Glossy Stains so this immediately went into my cart as an introduction. There are 3 types here: a plumping formula, Pop Water in 204 Onde Rose, and classic Glossy Stain in 7 Corail Aquatique.

4. NARS 'Blame It On NARS' Cheek Palette

Literally everything you'd want on your cheeks in one palette. 2 blushes, a highlighter and a bronzer (which doesn't include Orgasm + Laguna, a nice touch for those of us who already own them... haha)

5. LORAC The Skinny Palette - Black

Insanity erupted after the Skinny Palette Nude quickly sold out last year. At $15 these shadow sets are a steal and are absolutely perfect for travel and everyday use. This one is like a baby smoky palette!

I love me a good hoodie as much as the next girl but sometimes your old holey alma mater sweats just won't cut it. The funnel neck of this sweatshirt adds a fashionable twist to weekend wear so you can be cozy-chic.

SHOES

1. Cole Haan Marina Over The Knee Boot

If you are on the hunt for sleek over-the-knee boots for Fall, this pair is a gorgeous choice. I love the pointed toe and slim profile which helps legs appear longer.

2. Halogen Studded T-Strap Flat

This for me was love at first sight. I seriously need to step up my pointy-toe flat shoe game, but my slim heels and toes tend to make my feet slip out. The t-strap helps everything to comfortably fit and the added studded details look elegant and adds some edge. I love the black dot haircalf but it also comes in black, red patent, pale pink patent, and snake.

3. Sam Edelman Paige Boot

It's safe to say my suede Sam Edelman booties were some of my most-worn shoes last Fall/Winter and I love this updated version with fringe.

4. Enzo Angiolini Manna Sandal

This sandal has a classic shape and goes all the way down to size 4! I love the blue suede version but it also comes in black, red, and pewter chrome.

Tory Burch Joanna Riding Boot

Everyone needs a good, reliable pair of walking-around boots for the cooler months and this Tory Burch pair looks sleek enough to transcend seasonal trends. I love the pebbled leather and can see them being wardrobe workhorses in both the Coconut and Black colors.
