REVIEW & SWATCHES | Burberry Full Kisses
4:59 PMFrom opacity to ease of application to hydrating feel, it ticks off plenty of boxes as a favorite go-to lippy.
The packaging has a reflective gunmetal tube which twists the product up from the bottom. There is a good portion of the lipstick which is always visible so it's wise to take care when opening the cap not to scrape the product. I found the tip shape particularly interesting because it's almost like the tip of a highlighter which makes it extremely application-friendly since you can see where the lipstick edge is without any fancy arm contortioning.
I was sent three shades: Rose Apricot No. 521, Lilac No. 541, and Rosewood No. 533. All are a modern, glossy formula without any glitters or shimmers.
Rose Apricot No. 521 is a pastel creamsicle shade. Because it's quite bold, I would recommend it for those with lighter skintones for everyday wear but it is still very pretty as a statement lipstick. It translates gorgeously in photos as well.
You guys probably already know what a fan of purple lip products I am so Lilac No. 541 is totally up my alley. Particularly in the Fall time, it's a great pop of color since it matches both smokey and neutral eyes and it's especially pretty on those with yellow undertones.
You know how I love to save the best for last and Rosewood No. 533 is it! I bet you thought it would be Lilac which is what I assumed, but believe it or not this shade is even better! If there's one kind of lipstick I can't live without it is the holy grail MLBB (my lips but better) and I have officially found my new favorite.
This slightly warm coral-rose brightens my whole complexion and looks natural yet sophisticated. Yes it's not as exciting in photos, but trust me, this baby made me do a little happy dance as soon as it was on. A well-used product is a well-loved one. :)
You can find the entire Burberry Full Kisses line now at Sephora and Burberry for $30 apiece.
If you are stocking up on a few favorites or gifts during the VIB sale, I highly recommend trying it out especially Rosewood No. 533 for an opaque, hydrating MLBB which will work across many seasons and skintones.

Those shades are gorgeous but I like rosewood the most as it is quite subtle yet rich enough to complement your skin tone. Nice swatches ;)

I was so impressed with the pigmentation! It feels very balmy for having such poppy color

You should! I love how they feel when worn and the color payoff is really wonderful.
DeleteRosewood is a fantastic shade. It really looks lovely on you. Of the three it is the one I'd most likely choose for myself ^^
ReplyDeleteI find the packaging intriguing. I'm a total weirdo about packaging.

Aw thank you! It's definitely the easiest to wear. And I'm such a packaging nerd too, haha!
