Hey everyone! This will probably be the last of my Halloween tutorials for this year and I left it for last since you might be able to scrounge up a costume for it last-minute. It's my gyaru tutorial!

If you don't know what a gyaru is, it's a Japanese term for young girls in their teens and twenties who are very fashion-conscious with a stereotype of having a child-like appearance. You will most often see examples of "gyaru" girls in Japanese fashion magazines like Vivi (my favorite), Popteen, and S Kawaii. Basically the look centers on having HUGE eyes and a very innocent dolly look.

To be honest, this wasn't actually my favorite tutorial I've done on myself. I just think I look better with smaller eyes. Is that silly of me? I've never really loved the look of huge creases on me. BUT it was fun to do, and the transformation is pretty radical! I love makeup for its ability to do that sort of thing. ^_^

I hope you all enjoyed my gyaru tutorial! I do want to disclaim that I don't profess to be a gyaru (duh) so take this tutorial with a grain of salt and have a sense of humor when you apply your makeup, especially during Halloween!

I edited and re-uploaded my old Dolly Look tutorial. It's the look I had in my Japanese Curls video and I always feel weird going through these old ones again. I realized how much more natural I am at videos now that I've had a bit more practice. This was sooo choppy so I deeply apologize how cut up my sentences are!

Also, woah mama the video quality is bad too. lawwwlllllllllllllllllllllok.

Yeah, I'm totally talking through this one. I can't do this, I realized, because I always mess up what I say and get distracted. And I feel like voice-overs are rather impersonal. We can all read, right? Yeah. I'll stick to just captions from here on out like in my more recent vids. ;)

I'm kind of in love with the gradient lip I did here. It's reminds me of being a little kid after having a red popsicle. Should I do a tutorial for that?

This is one of my favorite looks of all time. I absolutely love the dolly-eyed look of Asian net idols so I thought I would give it a try. This look is all about a clear-skinned bright face with major attention on the eyes. The eyes are huge and have tons of contrast. Surprisingly, this is actually a simple look to put together but it has big impact. Let me know what you think of the video!
