IMATS LA Haul!

You may remember that last month I went to LA's IMATS convention which was over-the-top and amazing like it always is. I even got to meet a lot of sweet blog readers as well! While I was there, I hauled some cosmetics items from a few of my favorite booths and maybe even picked up a few things for you too. ;)

ReplyDeletei'm a longtime reader of your blog and viewer of your youtube channel, but i have to say that i've been a bit disappointed by you in the last several months. i feel that you've been becoming a bit lazy with keeping up with blog posts and videos... you don't really swatch anything anymore on ur blog or review things on video or keep up with video postings. i understand that you may have gotten a lot more busier with work after becoming more successful and that this is a big responsibility, but i think you should try to uphold this tradition of yours :)

I've actually been working on a new direction with the blog + youtube both to do more blog content so you'll start to see more reviews and posts while the video posts on the blog will be shorter. I wanted to get rid of as much "overlap" as possible. Don't worry, I haven't become "lazy" we are just transitioning to trying something new. You should be seeing more blog posts AND videos soon. ;)

Honestly, I don't know too much about hair coloring (I've always had my ombre done by a hair stylist) but I know it takes layers of colors. If you wanted to, you could get a couple different boxed dyes with one lighter color and one medium color so you can comb one in the mid-section of your hair and do the lighter one near the ends. I know companies are even starting to make ombre kits now!

I used my TheBalm Nude 'tude palette for the eye makeup and the lipstick was NYX soft matte lip cream in Amsterdam. :)

My main reason for subscribing to your blog was because you wrote out blog entries that could be enjoyed without watching a video. It distinguished you. It's understandable that you're becoming more successful and you want to pursue different marketing strategies.
