Hey guys! Today's Manicure Monday is one that I was immediately drawn to from OPI's Brazil collection. Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is the cutest shade of hot pink that I knew would be perfect for the sunny spring weather. I'm constantly on the hunt for good bright pinks but it can be tricky to find one that is flattering on certain skintones. Did this one past the test?
Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is the polish color that I've probably heard the most about from OPI's current Brazil collection and I can definitely see why. In the bottle, the color borders on being neon pink with just a touch of creaminess in it that tones it down just enough to give it good opacity and gloss. Typically neon pinks need a base coat of white to show true vibrancy but that wasn't the case with this one which is great for girls on the go.
Here I used a base of OPI Nail Envy, 3 coats of Kiss Me I'm Brazilian, and a top coat of Seche Vite. I could've easily gotten away with just 2 coats and as I mentioned before, the polish was glossy even before the top coat went down. This shade is actually super flattering on my medium skintone and it's bright without looking like it's trying to be too terribly neon-trendy. OPI has consistently good quality and this polish was no exception. :)
I have to say that I'm loving this shade so much that I can't wait to jump into some of the other Brazil collection shades! I can see this being a regular spring-summer favorite for pedicures as well. Without a doubt, this is definitely my top pink recommendation in the last year. LOVE!!!
Readers, have you tried any OPI Brazil polishes? What do you think of bright or neon nail polish colors? Let me know in the comments!
