Halloween Pics & Recap!

10:34 AM

I just realized I forgot to post my Halloween photos up! Here's a few of them before it gets too late. ^_^

First up, me and hubby. I know everyone keeps asking for pics of him so here you are. He looks just like Cobra Commander. ^_~ Omg, I look so much taller here because of that hat and the platform heels I'm wearing. Awesome.

Here is my mother-in-law as a "mad housewife" from the 50's and she accessorized with a fake cigarette (which she recycled from last year's Amy Winehouse costume) and an empty bottle of wine which also says "mad mousewife". I wish you could see the colorful scarf headband she wore with the wig. :D Too funny.

This is my sister-in-law going as "The Birds". She had little blobs of fake blood here and there as well. ^_^

Her husband, Colonel Sanders. He also had on cowboy boots and I was giggling at his costume all night. Soooo good! (FYI he went as Mark Twain last year.)

My friends Assassin's Creed and his wife, a lamb. Ironic combo.

And of course, Scott Pilgrim. Gotta love Smashing Pumpkins. Hahaha!

There's husband again, doing like he do with the thumbs and the ups.

My silliness reflected in his helmet. This face ---> ;D

And there were some ridiculously adorable decorations!

And lots of yummy, cute things!

We had a really fun time dressing up to be silly with family and friends this year. I was lauded for my *amazing* pictionary skills (lol) for girls vs. guys and girls totally won. I also won the prize for best costume. ^_^

And just to recap, here are all the Halloween looks I did for this year (click names for blog entries):

Lion Tutorial

Princess Jasmine Tutorial

Toy Soldier Tutorial

Gyaru Tutorial

If you happened to try out one of my Halloween tutorials, let me know! I already am a proud mama to the AMAZING Toy Soldiers, Gyaru girls, and Lions in my Facebook gallery so if you haven't seen it, check it out!

So tell me what you did for Halloween this year! Did you dress up? Hand candy out? Go to a crazy, packed party?

Ahh, this year I got some Round Table pizza (YUM) and stayed at my boyfriend's house watching The Simpson's Tree House of Horror episodes one after the other. :D It looks like you had a blast at the party too, all the decorations are soooo cute! Reminds me of a man I saw walking down the street dressed as Charlie Brown. XD Also random... his dog was wearing PANTS. Whut?? XDD

  17. Anonymous: The Enzos were really cute and comfy from the front, but from the side the calves were much to big for my chopstick legs. :/ I'm probably going to end up selling them. If you're interested let me know. :)

  18. Jen,

Totally share your pain on the quest of shoes that fit our child size feet. Seriously, my nieces wear bigger size than I do and they are like 8 or 9 years old.
I am 5' tall, weight 96-100 lbs. and wear shoe size 4. Depending on the mfg., size 4 can run big.
The only shopping trip I never encounter problem on sizes is my weekly trip to supermarket- GROCERY. That is pathetic.
I don't comment or read blogs often, but I like yours. GOOD JOB and you are adorable. Enjoy and treasure your family.

  27. hi, there! i just wanted to say that i love your blog.... and you are such a lovely girl. you are extremely talented, and i love how you share all of your beauty secrets. kudos to that!

i hope you don't take this the wrong way... but i wanted to warn you a little, about using the eyelid tapes. i used to have monolids... and used eyelid tapes to create the double-lid look, and after years of use, my eyelids stretched and it started to sag. after like 5+ years of use, i started to look sleepy-eyed all the time w/o make-up.... so i had no choice but to get blepharoplasty. just warning you.... that's all.

keep up the good work! i check your blog everyday!

    xoxo
